Victor Dahdaleh – Honoured to be awarded the Freedom of the City of London
Victor Philip Dahdaleh recently received the Freedom of the City of London. This occurred under Mayor Alastair John Naisbitt King and Chamberlain Caroline Louise Al-Beyerty.
Victor said, “I am truly delighted to receive the Freedom of the City of London. It is a rare privilege to join a tradition dating back to the 13th century. I share this honour with history’s giants like Sir Winston Churchill and Nelson Mandela. It was special to be awarded at the Guildhall with its rich history. The event happened during the reign of King Charles III.”
The ceremony was led by the Clerk to the Court of the Chamberlain. Sponsor Alderman Prem Goyal OBE attended. He is Chairman of the London Chamber of Commerce. A small group of family and friends were also present.
Victor has a long association with the City of London. He has supported world trade and commerce through his business interests. He supports the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce, where he is a long-term supporter.
Victor and his wife Mona are significant philanthropists. He directly invests in the City of London’s future success. His DADCO business partly owns the 99 Bishopsgate office tower. He sees more investment opportunities in the ‘Square Mile’.
