Canada’s High Commission in the United Kingdom has gratefully acknowledged the generous support of Victor Phillip Dahdaleh and the Victor Dahdaleh Foundation, the exclusive sponsor of the “1925–2025: A Century in Canada House” exhibition and Principal Sponsor of the Canada House Gallery.
Victor Phillip Dahdaleh said: ‘It is a great pleasure to support this landmark centenary exhibition – ‘A Century in Canada House’ complementing the Foundation’s long term principal sponsorship of the Canada Gallery which now extends to over a decade.’
One of London’s most recognisable embassies is celebrating a big milestone this week. On Sunday, 29 June, Canada House, the historic home of Canada’s High Commission in the UK, celebrates its 100th anniversary.
To mark this centenary, the High Commission of Canada has launched a special free exhibition, “1925–2025: A Century in Canada House”, at the Canada Gallery on Trafalgar Square. Curated by Library and Archives Canada, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through 100 years of history, diplomacy, cultural exchange and international collaboration.
Located within the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom, Canada Gallery offers a welcoming accessible space that projects Canadian values and supports Government of Canada key priorities, primarily through culture.
Supported by Victor Phillip Dahdaleh and the Victor Dahdaleh Foundation, Canada Gallery develops its programming through partnerships with Canadian and UK institutions and hosts three exhibitions a year. It is open to the public and free to visit Monday to Saturday, 11:00-17:45 (local time).
