The Victor Dahdaleh Foundation is committed to promoting closer commercial and cultural relations between Canada and the UK through the funding of a number of UK-based and bilateral organisations and initiatives.
The Maple Leaf Trust
The Victor Dahdaleh Foundation is a supporter of the Maple Leaf Trust – the leading charity of the Canadian community in the UK. Among a range of initiatives and programmes, the Foundation is a donor to the Veterans’ Support Committee, and the Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund – a fifty year-old fund which supports some of the best Canadian postgraduate students in the UK.
Canada-UK Colloquium
The Foundation is an established supporter of the Canada-UK Colloquium, a bilateral initiative bringing together experts and policymakers from both countries to deliberate on issues of mutual concern. The Colloquium’s aim is to build a network of parliamentarians, officials, academics, businesspeople, journalists, students and others to share experience and develop policy.
Canada House Gallery
The Victor Dahdaleh Foundation is the principal sponsor of the Canada House Gallery, located on Trafalgar Square in the heart of London. The gallery gives talented Canadian artists, designers and craftspeople the opportunity to showcase their work and gives members of the public the opportunity to experience a wide array of Canadian art and culture.
